Ok. I’ll admit it. Resident Evil: Extinction wasn’t as good as Resident Evil or even Resident Evil: Apocalypse, but that’s not stopping me from getting excited about Resident Evil: Afterlife. R.E. is a much favorited game series for me, and as far as movies based on video games go, the RE movies are amongst the few good ones. Enter Resident Evil in 3D. Whoa baby! I’m not sure it gets any better than that.

So I finally managed to get around to beating this game that I nearly didn’t purchase on release date. I’ll be the first to admit I’m a sucker for a Square Enix game so I had high hopes this new addition to the FF series wouldn’t disappoint. I waited and waited for the US release date to roll around, all the while shaking my fist at Japan for getting the game several months before I could even think about playing it.

Growing up, whether you had a Sega Genesis or a SNES, you were laughed at if you didn’t have Street Fighter 2 to beat up the neighbors in. SF has been a staple in fighting games since those days. The artwork to come from that series (fan or official) have been no joke either.
