Morning readers, time for a quick chat. Today we have a bit of news from Sony that should intrigue some gamers, but first a bit of non-gaming news.

Today I’ll be sitting on Skype for a good portion of the day, and since my home internet connection sucks for anything more strenuous than surfing I will have my Android on hand as well so Skype can forward the calls to the cell. For those that wish to chat or IM to say hello or even ask some questions, don’t hesitate to do so. The worst that can happen is you either get no reply or I respond back saying I am busy at the moment. My user name is just an all lower-case version of my user name attached to this post.

Anyway, on to the tidbit of the day. Sony has announced that it plans to roll out an official keyboard and mouse for the PS3. It hits store shelves on November 2nd with a price tag of $127. What are your thoughts on this development?
