Today is “Bungie Day” and marks the 20 year Birthday/Anniversary of Bungie Studios. As in previous “Bungie” days, Bungie is challenging the rest of the world in their very own “Bungie Day” playlist. This year they have made the steaks (I did that on purpose… you’ll see why) a little higher, though. In the past there have been bets made on in house games that they have played. A meme has been created by one of these very bets. “I’ll bet you a steak dinner you can’t beat us by 20 kills.” This has given rise to something we know as a “Steaktacular.” So, this year, Bungie has promised ANY team that beats them by 20 points gets a steak (Update: TWO STEAKS!) from Omaha Steaks on them. I want one two.

By now it’s a good portion through their challenge day; I’m sure they’ve given out quite a few. I spent a couple hours in the playlist today already, but if you want in on the action, throw in Halo: Reach and choose the “Bungie Day” playlist. I’m telling you now, your chances of getting to play vs Bungie are slim… but worth it. If you just want to watch the action, you can see their live stream on UStream.
