Momma Microsoft has been stressing herself over letting you damn kids have those fake guns.

Well she finally decided to throw them out. She’s gonna do it while we’re sleeping. We can thank big brother RacZilla over at Epic for the “Heads Up“…

Heads up! Starting on Jan. 1, 2012, the Lancer and Hammerburst avatar items will no longer be available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace. If you’ve purchased the items prior to Jan. 1, you will be able to keep them. A new policy goes into effect for all gun-like avatar items on the Marketplace, so get them while they’re hot.

Now, I do not have the full list of which items are going to be yoinked, but as he said…”gun-like.” I hope I don’t have to spell it out for you like everyone else did. I’m going to go buy mine now…
