With the dawn of a new year, I am reminded of something I remember hearing nearly every week during the previous year. Know that that is?

That’s right, Borderlands 2 launch date is drawing closer. I spent hours on the first game playing through the campaign with friends, the only way to play that game, and all the DLC.

Then Microsoft pushed out the update to allow you to use flash drives as memory cards, immediately I hit the modding scene hard for this game to make cool guns. All the while, wishing it would have been an option included by Gearbox in the first place. Some of my friends appreciated having me tweak some of their weapons for them, but rarely would I give away my “cheap weapons” as I referred to them. The ones that could one hit kill anything or my shields that made you practically invincible.

Now with the sequel fast approaching, I hope there is a modding scene for the console players to enjoy. I know I’ll be poking around a bit after finishing the game legitimately first. Anyone have any fun stories to share about Borderlands?
