Morning readers. I’ve been absent from the site for the last few weeks due to Skyrim being launched then falling ill (read: sleep deprivation from Skyrim sessions) and while normally I try to come back on a positive note with some of the humor my friends know me by, that is not the case today.

I make it a point to do my best to keep political opinions out of anything I write, it just seems like a good practice. Today I break that trend because America faces the possibility of having our internet censored. SOPA (formerly Protect IP) is a bill being pushed through right now that will give certain groups the ability to censor the internet or force US hosted sites to censor their users for fear of being prosecuted.

This is a terrifying possibility, because the internet is what many have come to rely on for our sources of information, opinions, and simple amusement. For all Americans reading, take a stand to protect the internet. Those of you in other countries can still help as well by spreading the word.
